Q: Are these programs covered by Medicare (USA)?
A: Service providers offering cognitive rehabilitation services, memory training and other cognitive therapy intervention services that use these cognitive programs and exercises may have acquired reimbursement through Medicare. Please consult your professional organization or your state’s Medicare information line for the specific reimbursement codes particular to your profession and delivered therapy.
Q: How long have the Programs and Exercises been used in clinical settings?
A: The program and exercises have been used Neurologists, Gerontologists, Psychiatrists and Cognitive Rehabilitation specialists since 2003. The library of exercise have been enhanced significantly since then in response to deep use and evolving needs.
Q: Once a patient has been discharged from a formal rehab program, can they continue cognitive training on their own?
A: Yes. If you have established a patient account on the ScientificBrainTrainingPro portal, they can continue to use that account for cognitive training as long as it remains an active account. This is in your control. Alternatively, if you deactivate the patient account, you can refer them to www.happy-neuron.com where they may continue with their cognitive training on their own.
Q: What happens to patient records once they have completed a program?
A: The patient records are maintained in your account after they have completed program of therapy and the account has been deactivated. That active account slot can be reused for another patient. The deactivated patient account can be reactivated at any time in the future.
Q: My patient has come back for more therapy after a six month absence. Can I reactive their old account?
A: Yes. You can reactive a patient account at any time without loss of their prior cognitive performance records.
Q: Will ScientificBrainTrainingPro work with Windows as well as Mac?

A: Yes. Security is ensured for your personal information using SSL secure internet communication for all personal information pages and purchase pages. This is visible when the browser URL starts with "https:" and the appearance of a lock symbol in your browser screen.

A: Yes. The patients can access their online account from any web enabled computer, from anywhere, at any time without limit, making it suitable for in-office as well as at-home training sessions.
Q: Is there CD-ROM software required or is the training program accessed through an internet account?
A: All programs are accessed through an online web account. There is no special software required to download or install on your, or your patient’s, computer.
Q: Can I purchase more than one free trial program?
A: When you sign up for the 15 Day FREE Trial for the first time, you can select as many programs as you like to try.
A: If you already have an account, please log-in and select an additional program to try that you have not previously trialed. Each program is available for a 15-Day FREE Trial one time.
Q: How can I purchase a complete program?
A: To purchase a new program, go to the 'My account' page (link in the top-right corner) then click 'Add new' in the 'Memberships' section.
If you don't see the 'My account' link, then you're probably not allowed to manage the account subscription. Please contact the administrator of your account.
